Camino is an educational space where we can put another look at childhood into practice, the education we want to give and receive, and where we can bet on another way of living.
The people who make up this place believe in the importance of child care and the value of prevention as a primary factor for greater well-being and personal development in all spheres.
In the mornings it is an educational space for children between 3 and 12 years old. During the afternoons and weekends, a multidisciplinary space with activities and workshops related to the project where you can continue learning and enjoying, open to all adults and children in general.
Families have a fundamental role in Camino. We are the base of the project, the axis of care for the creatures and, therefore, we have the place we deserve to continue developing and enjoying our bond as a living and autonomous system. For this reason, the space is open to families at any time, with a coworking area and social and labor support (especially for mothers), with more social actions and networking with other groups in the area.
From the windows of the space we see the Regional Park of the Southeast and its lagoons, and from the entrance door walking it is barely 6 meters to reach it. We want to breathe the Vega and learn from it. And take care of her. For this reason, our intention is to forge relationships and commitments with the ecological orchards and animal farms that make it up, in addition to the regular collaboration of associative organizations that promote participation and care for our most natural and living environment. This will be an important basis of our daily education to work across the educational proposals.
And recover the streets, the town… walk to the local library, get to know the town’s shops, its people, trades or associations.
And find our way. Our camino.
Camino: educational and social action.
